“REIF Fukushima” is a nickname of this fair and an acronym standing for the Renewable Energy Industrial Fair.

Objective

his fair offers firms and/or institutions, who are undertaking businesses in the renewable energy industry, to exhibit technology, provide & gather information, hold business meetings and join networking events. This boosts businesses among industry, academia and government whilst expressing Fukushima’s strong will to be a renewable energy frontier both locally and globally.

REIF Fukushima 2020 took place with strict preventive measures against Covid-19 infections by following guidelines. The preventive measures included setting restriction of entry for each venue, temperature check for all visitors to the hall, wearing face masks, thorough disinfection of hands and fingers, and using a contact confirming application. We are thankful for all visitors who followed our guidance cooperatively.

  • There were few real exhibitions held in 2020 due to the novel coronavirus, and this was a significant exhibition.
  • The coronavirus infection prevention measures taken at the exhibition were wonderful.
  • Although the exhibition was held in the coronavirus pandemic, it was very active with many visitors and we could fully conduct PR activities on our business.
  • We hope that the scale of the exhibition will be increased, for example, by inclusion of the energy conservation field, etc.
